On the occasion of the 150 years of the unification of Italy Festival MITO SettembreMusica offers as preview a great concert focused on the traditions of the Italian popular music. On thursday 14th of April from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., in Piazza della Scala in Milan, will perform the best of the Italian folk musicians coming from eight regions. A mix of styles and sonorities strongly linked to the culture and history of our country. The historic Banda di Avola will parade in the city centre (from San Babila to Piazza della Scala) as to channel the audience towards Piazza della Scala where the eight groups (I Violini di Santa Vittoria, Calicanto, il Gruppo Spontaneo Trallalero, Napoli MandolinOrchestra, Tenores di Bitti, I Malicanti e Anna Invidia e l'Ambrogio Sparagna & Orchestra Popolare Italiana) will take turns every 30 minutes.
