“Run with MITO” for a good cause: supporting the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi. MITO SettembreMusica goes on with its social responsibility projects and this year, for the first time, the 6th of April will participate to the Milano City Marathon, organizing several relays which will involve the General Directors and the staff of the Festival, the public, the sponsors, the suppliers and all the people who are not only into sports but also into music. MITO SettembreMusica will support this project participating to the Relay Marathon and organizing relays for team of 4 members. The 42,192 km will be divided in 4 legs (km 13,5 + km 10,0 + km 10,0 + km 8,7) and each leg will be run by a member. The relay Marathon is a race which, for the fifth consecutive year, comes up beside the 42 km Milan’s Marathon through a Charity Program which allows the participants to run, raising money for a no profit organization. The money raised by MITO will support the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi in their project: to allow Dottor Sandouno, an African Doctor, to complete his studies at the European Institute of Oncology, and then go back to Conakry, Republic of Guinea’s capital city, and open an Oncology Clinic which provides free assistance to all the region’s women. Get yourself involved and run with MITO: the entry fee is €35 and it includes: - the technical t-shirt branded “Team MITO” from the Fondazione Veronesi to wear during the race; - the official Milano City Marathon’s technical t-shirt; - a MITOCard 2014, the Festival MITO’s loyalty card which gives several discounts for a number of cultural events and concerts; - a free ticket for MITO SettembreMusica’s final party. For more information or to enter the relay send an email to c.mitopromozione@comune.milano.it or phone call the following number 0039.288464725.
